Responsibilities
The position is within Market Risk Department of Risk Management Asia with main roles:

• To develop and manage software solution for Market Risk Department
• To lead data projects collaborating with IT department for risk analysis and profit and loss analysis activities
• To provide IT and Data expert advice to Market Risk Managers

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day requests and query from risk analysts, whilst acting as the principal contact for the team
• Manage portfolio of End-User Computing tools or tactical tools used in the department
• Require hands-on software development on tactical IT solution
• Maintain and support the software and tool used in Market Risk
• Constant direct communication with risk analysts for IT topics
• Ensure good IT design and Architecture practices are utilized for all IT tools within Market Risk
• Build relationship and work closely with IT department for project execution and adaptation
• Promote the use of new technology like Data science to improve efficiency or increase quality in the department
• Actively assist in the development and promotion of SG tools that will be utilized by the team.
• Managing offshore Tactical Development and Support team for Hong Kong production environment

Profile required

• Bachelors in Computer Engineering or Computer science. Masters degree of relevant subject for example Data Science, FinTech or similar is a plus
• Very good programming skill, design and concept
• Experience in IT development team
• Strong knowledge in Object Oriented Programming theory and practice (either C++, Java, C#)
• Knowledge in python, git, github
• Demonstrate the capacity to work in a team environment, on collective success
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Display responsibility and act ethically
• Display commitment, demonstrating consideration for others
• Knowledge in node.js and web application development is a plus
• Fluent English is mandatory
• Pro-active, swift, analytical, rigorous, able to multi-task and work under pressure

Bonus Skills and knowledges:

• Knowledge of VBA, web application development (e.g. reacts) and Dashboarding technology (e.g. Power BI)
• Financial knowledge (derivative products)
• Data Science or machine learning
