Responsibilities:
- Collaborative Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with business units; communicate data concepts and project details clearly with stakeholders.
- Solution Development: Develop advanced Data Science solutions using AI, ML and Generative AI techniques.
- Project Management: Manage end-to-end AI project development.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Enhance business decisions by applying Data Science applications like LLM applications, predictive underwriting, cross-sell modeling, customer insights, and AI recommendation systems.
- Dashboard Development: Develop and maintain performance dashboards.
- Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform tasks as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business
- Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or similar subject &1+ years’ experience as data analyst/scientist/engineer
- Communication Skills:Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with various parties.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python (required) and SQL
- Machine Learning Expertise: Deep understanding of Machine Learning concepts and algorithms (e.g., predictive modeling, Generative AI, clustering, NLP, Computer Vision).
- Project Experience: Experience in Data Science projects and building machine learning models (e.g., LLM, random forest, gradient boosting, BERT).
- Internship Experience: Previous experience as a data scientist or data analyst intern is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of insurance or financial services is advantageous.
- Visualization Tools: Familiarity with visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is a plus.
- Personal Attributes: Well-organized, problem solver, fast learner, team player, open-minded, and efficient with minimal tolerance for mistakes.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Chinese, both written and spoken.
