We are looking for an accomplished developer to build out and enhance our existing services. This position is focused on front-‐end development, click optimization, UI design, iteration and improvements. It requires an eye for simple yet very usable software.
You will have the opportunity to be part of a highly dynamic technology and business focused team that is running and building a multi-‐tenant platform for businesses. We work on a modified LAMP infrastructure with PHP and JavaScript as the primary development languages. You will be the first developer hire so the ability to lead is a must.
Your Day-to-Day
Design and develop next generation business user interfaces.
Optimize the environment, remove bottlenecks and research performance problems.
Support the development processes with quality assurance, version control and build process.
Your Know How
4+ years proven track record delivering web application systems.
You are familiar with the entire Software Development Life Cycle.
Expert knowledge of HTML/CSS/PHP.
Expert at JavaScript/AJAX.
Skilled use of Content Management Systems and Delivery
Networks: Drupal, Joomla, or WordPress.
Experience in real-‐time data-‐feeds/services and JSON/XML REST API.
Proven track record developing intuitive UI and scalable applications.
Working knowledge of SQL (MySQL, Redis, PostgreSQL, etc.)
Ability to work with a small, high-‐energy team.
General good understanding of system administration.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
