Undertake design tasks on projects with focus on network and communications system / cyber security / data and cloud solutions for the Operating Railway
Prepare contracts and assist in tendering process, providing comments and assessment on project design submissions
Attend site surveys, test and commissioning and co-ordinate interfaces with internal stakeholders
Conduct technical investigations and interfaces and provide technical advice to maintainers
Conduct security administration, compliance monitoring, risk assessment and security design review on Operating Railway systems / Design and implement Hong Kong Transport Services Business Unit data infrastructure and conduct data driven analytics to provide smart operations and smat maintenance insights
Manage incident response activities for Operating Railway systems
Assist in formulation of policy, standards and procedures in network and communications systems / cyber security / data and cloud governance
Requirements:
Degree in Electronic / Communications / Information Engineering / Computer Science or a related discipline
A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
Possession of relevant professional certification is preferreed
Solid experience in one of the following area
Data network design, configuration and management
Cyber security infrastructure deployment and operations, attack/defence techniques, incident response
Data, AI and Cloud technology
Sound knowledge of network and control systems commonly applied in railway industry and understanding of railway installation practices is an advantage
Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as good command of written English is essential
Remarks:
Appointment will be on On-going or 2-year renewable contract terms subject to project nature
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Support Engineer – Network / Data Analyst I
Required perform duties on non-traffic hours during site surveys and system recovery and commissioning stages
