Job Description:

• Support the communication and control system interface design and advance works of new line extension projects such as Tung Chung Line Extension, Tuen Mun South Extension etc.
• Undertake interface design tasks assigned on a wide range of communications and control systems especially in various types of Information Display Systems, Public Address and Mobile Apps, Power Remote Control System and Main Control System for the project interface with new line extensions to ensure the user requirements of the project are met
• Participate in the interface of different systems, establish the design standards and prepare the technical specifications of interface systems with due consideration / close coordination of other engineering systems to ensure the prevailing safety and reliability of asset performance
• Provide technical support to the communication and control systems and innovation projects through investigation, feasibility studies, test/trials, reviewing of the relevant engineering operation and maintenance standards, as well as application of new technology
• Conduct technical and incident investigations, attend site surveys and testing & commissioning, and coordinate interfaces with other systems/parties

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronic Engineering / Computer Science or a related discipline
• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in communication systems, of which 2 years should be related to railway equipment
• Experience in system engineering, system integration, interface management and requirement management is preferred
